HI everyone! These pictures below are from back in June. I turned two on June 9th, and got lots of neat things for my birthday! Mommy and Daddy got me a choo choo train set which I love and am having so much fun playing with! Granddaddy Danie and Granma Shanna gave me a fire engine Cozy Coupe which I also love! I had lots of fun washing it in the garden hose one day! There are also a few pictures of me playing on the playground at Jones Park in Asheville. Mommy and I went up to visit Aunt Sally and Cousin Connor (and Jack, too) when they were in town for a wedding. We had a short but nice visit!
Once you look at these pictures keep going....I posted a bunch from our recent beach trip below, too!

Hi everyone! Wow am I having a fun summer! We just got back from a trip to Edisto Beach, SC where we stayed at our friend Shannan's house. We had lots of fun and I got to go to the beach every single day! I love the ocean and am not afraid to charge right into it, full speed. Needless to say mommy and daddy had their hands full!
While we were there I got to ride on a golf cart, too! I think that was my favorite part. I also got to play in the sandobx at another friend's house while I was there. They have grandkids and their house was fully equipped, so I got to slide on their slide, play with their sand toys, and even ride in their red wagon down to the beach! It was a lot of fun.
Now we are back home for the rest of the summer, getting ready for my little brother to arrive! I kind of understand what mommy and daddy are saying when they tell me there is a baby in mommy's tummy, but I'm more excited about the new bedroom I am about to move into! I am going to have my very own big boy racecar bed, and I'm going to loan my crib out to my little brother. It's going to be lots of fun!
I am chatting up a storm these days, as usual, and have begun to talk in small phrases. My favorite things to say as of late are "episode down" (i.e., upside down), "nice fart", "choo choo!, all aboard!", and "mama play with" or "dada play with" (when I want mommy or daddy to play toys with me). I just went for my two year old checkup and I'm 31 pounds and growing!
Enjoy the new pictures below!

Can you believe it?! Two posts in one month! I'm getting better aren't I?!
These next few pictures are mostly from a visit to Tanglewood Park. Mommy and Daddy took me out there one day to play on the playground and to feed the ducks. The playground was lots of fun! I played in the sandbox and went down the big kids slide at least two dozen times. There was a section of the playground for toddlers but I didn't want anything to do with it - the bigger the slide, the better!
When we went to feed the ducks, I got out of the car with a fig newton cookie in my hand. One of the ducks walked right up to me and took the cookie out of my hand!! I thought it was funny at first but when I realized I couldn't have my cookie back, I wasn't as excited. But I had fun feeding and chasing the ducks. I walked behind them saying "quack quack" the whole time :)
The first two pictures are me and Daddy swimming at our friends' pool - the water was really really cold but I had so much fun and did not want to get out! - and me running and playing at a cookout we went to a few weeks back.
I'm really excited that summer is here - Mommy, Daddy and I are going to have so much fun!!

Hi everyone! Ok, so back in January I promised to be a better blogger.....and I have not been! But I have a good reason: mommy's pregnant!!!!!(though you probably already knew that by now). I've just been too excited to post any pictures! I'm going to be a big brother in September! Mommy is having a boy and I'm so excited -- I can teach him all the neat things I've learned to do so far, like climbing on things, counting to 20, learning my colors, and starting to learn my ABC's!
I'm having so much fun these days I can barely contain myself. Mommy and Daddy take me to the park to play on the slides and in the sandbox, and my babysitter (Miss Meg) has a big backyard where I get to play on her jungle gym too (she even lets us play on the water table!!). I am still very much into my cars and trucks, love Wow Wow Wubbzy ("Wowzy") and Yo Gabba Gabba ("Gabba") on TV, and I love to read books with Mommy and Daddy at night. My current favorite is "The Boy with Two Belly Buttons".
I talk constantly and even if Mommy and Daddy have no clue what I'm saying, they still carry on a conversation with me and it's lots of fun! I love animals and can do lots of animal sounds, and I have a great dance that I do whenever I hear music!
We went to the beach a few weeks ago, so I've posted some pictures below that you can see. It was too cold to swim (though I did manage to charge into the ocean and get wet once), but I had lots of fun digging and playing in the sand! We had lunch at a cool Pub called Dunleavy's, and I wore my Notre Dame shirt just for the occasion!
I hope to have more pictures to post soon, so stay tuned!
Love,
Colin
