Hi everyone! Sorry I've been a bad blogger - I promise I will try and get better about keeping in touch!

There are lots of new updates and pictures below. I'm doing great. I'm 27 pounds, growing like a weed, and running like a champ! I'm into everything and having so much fun - reading books with Mommy and Daddy, counting, learning new words, staying up later (for some reason Mommy and Daddy don't like that too much....I wonder why?), brushing my teeth with a tootbrush and Thomas the Tank Engine toothpaste, and growing more and more cute by the minute!

I'm quite the chatterbox - it's nonstop really - and I have a rather large vocabulary I must say. I say all the standards - you know, dog, cat, Daddy, Mommy, milk, juice, door, TV, car car, etc., - but I can say some pretty big words and Mommy and Daddy are so proud of me! Here's a list of some of them:

pineapple (my favorite fruit - probably because Mommy ate it nonstop while I was in her tummy!)

I also like to talk on the phone - any phone - and sometimes I pretend that non-phones are phones. Things like Mommy's high heels, one of my toy cars, a coaster, a hairbrush, bath toys.....you name it, I pretend it's a phone. And what's even cooler is that when I pick the phone up, I say, verbatim "Hello? Hi! Yeah! Bye bye" like a real conversation! And I even hold the phone in the crook of my neck on my shoulder like grown-ups do. I'm so cool!

I hope you all enjoy the new pics below from Christmas. I had a great time - Santa came to visit and brought me some fun stuff, including a Clipo Activity Table, a Hess Truck w/ Frontloader, and my very own potty! It sings and lights up and is way cool!

These are my top 10 pasttimes as of 1/23/09:

10. Deliberately throwing food I don't like onto the floor and saying "uh oh!"
9. Throwing temper-tantrums on the floor in which I thrash around like a fish out of water and occasionally hurl myself at things, such as toys, coffee tables, parents, or dogs.
8. Climbing. On anything.
7. Saying "ding dong!" when I see a door.
6. Saying "woooooo woooo" (like a siren) whenever I see a truck with lights on top of it. This includes fire trucks, garbage trucks, tow trucks, FedEx trucks....
5. Air-drumming to rock music with Daddy
4. Counting to 5. Yes, I can already count to five and I'm not even 2 yet!
3. Throwing things. At grownups. And dogs. And other kids.
2. Turning light switches on and off for Mommy and Daddy. Over. And over. And over. And over.
1. Playing "tackle" and watching "touchdown" with Daddy!

Just before Christmas Mommy and I went up to Asheville to see everyone but especially to see Aunt Sally and Cousin Connor (ok....and Uncle Jack, too)! I had a great time but Connor didn't like me too much, because I threw toys at him and hit him. I am a bit of a bully sometimes, but it's just because I get frustrated and don't know what else to do. I will get through that phase soon enough. But all in all, we had a good (but all too short!) visit. I got to hang out with my cool Uncle Craig and he even let me play his guitar! It was so much fun! After our first night there I was exhausted, and passed out in my crib with my legs propped up and Ernie (my blankie) over my head!!

These pictures are some from Christmas Day, lounging with Daddy after a busy day, playing with my New York Yankees baseball bat & ball, and sitting on my new training potty! It lights up and sings songs and is so much fun! All I like to do right now is flush it and stand in it (don't worry - I haven't used it yet so it's clean!!), but I'll start to use it soon (at least that's what Mommy and Daddy are hoping!)

These next pictures are of me on Christmas Day. By far my favorite toy was the Hess Truck that Daddy got for me. It has lots of lights and makes a bunch of cool noises. I would not put it down for days, and even had to take it with me in the car AND while sitting in my high chair!

Hi everyone! Below are a few recent pictures of me, including me in my Halloween costume. I was Scooby Doo! I didn't like to wear it, so I wasn't in it for very long. I did stay in it long enough for Mommy and Daddy to take me to Toys R Us so that I could walk in the parade with Geoffrey! I wasn't interested in it when we got there though, all I wanted to do was play with toys. I ended up getting a plastic slinky and big red fire truck out of it, so it was fun!

Hi everybody! I'm back! Sorry it's been so long since an update but I've been busy! Hopefully I've made up for it with all the pictures below! These first few are from our recent visit to the pumpkin patch! I had such a good time (and of course had to bring my big green bat with me). I kept calling all the pumpkins "ball" and had so much fun pointing out the wheels on the old-timey wagons they had. Wheels and cars are my new favorite thing - I always have a little car in my hand & love to point out "car car" to Mommy and Daddy whenever I see one. I am quite the chatterbox in a parking lot :)

I am running everywhere now and don't like to be contained, so Mommy and Daddy just let me run around the house now. They finally realized that I will go to sleep quickly and quietly if I can run loose for a little while before bedtime. :) I love listening to music with Daddy, and anytime I hear a song come on I start air-drumming (yes, I know how to do that) and shaking my booty.

These are a few pics of me playing around the house. I was having a good time!

I have magnetic numbers on the fridge that I love to play with. I also enjoy putting them on the stainless steel trash can. Mommy doesn't like that too much and I can't figure out why. She always says "Yucky!" when I get near the trash can. I guess that means it has germs or something.

Who knows!

This next set of pictures includes a few of me sleeping and hugging our dog Homer. If you look closely in one of the sleeping pictures, you will see that I fell asleep with a cell phone in my hand! Mommy and Daddy gave me an old phone to play with and I took it to bed with me one night.
